Who’s Listening?

by | Dec 1, 2020 | Community Info, December 2020

It’s been almost 2 years, and the Taming Traffic Taskforce has monitored traffic in six neighborhoods, but we have not been able to share our information with police or city officials.

Our leaders need to know that driving 98 mph on Miller Rd., and others outrageous speeds in our neighborhoods is more dangerous than the Covid pandemic or drunk drivers.

Our radar sign is talking loudly, but we’re not getting the attention of the people who can enforce our traffic laws.

If you’re a concerned citizen, and tired of seeing speeders plow through your neighborhood, or run red lights, or drive while texting, then join our group, as we seek an audience with those in our community who have been commissioned to keep our streets safe.

The Taming Traffic Taskforce meets the first Monday of each month, via zoom, at 4 p.m.

If you would like to join us, send us an email at traffictamingflint@gmail.com, and we will send our meeting information to you.
