Did You Know?

Did you know… that Flint’s very own Deputy Fire Chief of the City of Flint, President of the International Association of Black Professional Firefighters (IABPFF) (1st woman President of that organization I might add), Carrie Edwards-Clemons, has also been named a 2021 recipient of the Evon Price Memorial Foundation’s “Unsung Heroes of Michigan” Award?

The event honoring the awardees can be seen on Access Channel 17 on local cable as well as on the Evon Price Memorial Foundation Facebook Page and YouTube, Live at 7: 00pm on July 27.

Simply tune into cable Channel 17 or search “2021 Unsung Heroes Awards” on YouTube, or search the Evon Price Memorial Foundation on Facebook.

Other local recipients of the Award include Flint Police Chief, Terrence Green and Genesee County Sheriff, Chris Swanson.

Congratulations Carrie, and to your fellow awardees! A well deserved honor!
