University of Michigan-Flint Government and Community Relations is saddened by the loss of former Michigan legislator and University of Michigan-Flint alumnus, the Honorable Jack Minore.
Mr. Minore was a teacher and a strong Flint public servant on Flint City Council many years before he joined the legislature in 1998.
He was a champion for labor, fair housing, and higher education. Mr. Minore died at the age of 82.
We thank him for his service to our community. He will be missed.
