The Voter Outreach Center is open from 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, for walk-in or phone assistance with voting issues or to pick up informational brochures.

What’s Your District? Thursday, July 7, two sessions, 2:00-3:00pm and 5:00-6:00pm. Districts for Congress, Legislature, County and even local precincts have changed, and this informational session is geared toward providing accurate information. Maps provided.

Recognizing Mis- and Dis- Information Thursday, July 14, 5:00-6:00 This class looks at how to sort fact from fiction in political conversations.

What’s the Meaning of This! Thursday, July 21. Two sessions, 2:00-3:00 and 5:00-6:00. This session looks at the misuse and overuse of words that trigger emotional reactions in social and political discourse.

Why Vote? This will be a focus group on looking at ideas about how to reach non-voters, starting June 28. Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00, until Tuesday, July 19.

Democracy and the Bill of Rights When people claim their Constitutional rights have been violated, is that valid? Each attendee will have their personal copy of the Constitution as we discuss the content of the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the Constitution.

When will workshops without a date be scheduled? Some of the workshops are not yet scheduled, so watch for updates on July and August workshops and events.
