New FOCOV Newsboxes Sprouting Around Town

by | Aug 1, 2022 | August 2022, Community Info

You may have noticed some snappy new news distribution boxes around town.

There are 8 “fresh” Flint: Our Community, Our Voice newsboxes, newly designed and decorated by the fine artists of the Flint Mural Project (special thanks to Joe
Schipani).

These newsboxes will contain copies of Flint: Our Community, Our Voice as well as (depending upon location) copies of East Village Magazine, The Flint Courier as well as any local neighborhood flyers you may wish to distribute to a larger audience. They are free for YOU to use as well.

The newest boxes are located at the Neighborhood Engagement Hub, The Flint Development Corp., (both on ML King Avenue), Totem Books, (Ann Arbor @ Court) Art Beauchamp’s Ace Hardware, (Pierson Road) the MTA bus stop at the corner of McClellan and ML King, (across from the ML King Peace Park) and the Edible Flint Demonstration Garden. (12th Street and Beach-1 block west of Saginaw)

We still have 1 newsbox left. Do you want it at or near your neighborhood or business? Do you have a lot of foot traffic at your location? Does it make sense to
place one there? Let us know and we’ll discuss.

Others are at the Flat Lot, Berston Fieldhouse, and the Farmers’ Market.
