’80s in the Hole Rocks for the River

The Flint River Watershed Coalition’s (FRWC)biggest fundraiser of the year, the 5th annual ’80s in the Hole benefit concert and party, is coming on September 9th. Please share the event widely with your networks to help make it a success. We are also still accepting sponsors for the event. For sponsor information, please contact Sarah Schleiter at 810-938-0361.

’80s in the Hole will feature Michigan’s favorite 1980s band, Starfarm. Activities also include a beer tent, local food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, and best-dressed contest. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate.

“We are excited to bring back Flint’s favorite 1980s party with new energy from band Starfarm. Flint always impresses us with their gnarly costumes and love for this most excellent decade,” says outgoing Flint River Watershed Coalition Executive Director, Patrick Scanlon, “But ultimately what’s most important is the support for our work protecting the Flint River.”
