Join us for a Mariachi Summer Camp, put on by El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil & Mariachi! Participants will learn to play the traditional music style of México from EBFE’s professional musicians, as well as cultural crafts and dances, all while making new friends! The camp runs from Monday, June 26th to Friday, June 30th from 10am-2pm at St John Vianney Catholic School in Flint, with a culminating performance on the last day of camp at 1pm. It is designed for children in grades 4–8 with a minimum of 2 years of experience in violin, guitar, or trumpet, but no prior experience with mariachi music is required.
