Help Your Senior Find College Funding

If you have a high school senior this year, we invite you to attend an important educational opportunity.  The Library is pleased to host The Money Talks Scholarship Summit, presented by AROSE Foundation, on Saturday, October 21 at 11:00am.

Post-secondary education is essential for any student who wants to earn a living wage. However, that education can be cost-prohibitive.  This Summit is designed to help prepare high school and college students learn to pursue competitive scholarship opportunities.

Students will learn about available scholarship opportunities, essay writing, resume creation, how to fill out FAFSA (the financial aid form), interviewing skills, budgeting, and more.

This session is open to everyone, and there is no fee to attend.  Help the seniors in your life find the funding they need to pursue further education by sharing this event.

Find more information about programs, services, Library cards and more by visiting our website at fpl.info.  Hope to see you soon!
