Triumph in Pursuit of Our Vision and Mission

Embarking on the fiscal year 2014, the Latinx Technology and Community Resource Center has kicked off with an outstanding performance, welcoming 439 visitors in January. Despite falling slightly short of our 500-visitor goal, the remarkable increase from previous years highlights the profound impact our center has on the community.

As the heart of various community needs, our Resource Center saw 337 visitors signing in, representing a significant surge in community engagement. The Water Box initiative, focused on providing clean water, garnered 67 sign-ins, showcasing a collective effort to address essential needs within our community. The distribution of 856 gallons of water emphasizes our unwavering commitment to ensuring the well-being of our residents.

We remain optimistic about the future, anticipating even greater number in the month ahead. The positive trajectory of our visitor number signals a promising year for our center and its mission.

One standout achievement lies in the personalized support we provided to 43 community members accessing family services. From navigating the MI Bridges portal to assisting with benefit applications, immigration services, and legal referrals, our center played a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment. Additionally, we assisted 36 clients in Workforce & Economic development opportunities, connecting small businesses to resources and linking clients to employment and school enrollment assistance.

As we reflect on the successful start to the fiscal year, we eagerly anticipate continued growth and impact in our community.  Our dedication to providing comprehensive services and fostering connections within our community sets the stage for a year of achievement and positive transformation. Together, we are empowering our community for a brighter future.
