We’re going to explore “Oceans of Possibilities” this summer as we get kids excited about reading and help them learn to use their Library. We have a great lineup of activities planned, starting on June 18 with our kick-off celebration.
If you’re looking for things to do this summer, make sure you take note of these opportunities:
- Tuesdays you can bring your lunch to the beautiful new Storytime Garden to enjoy Lunch on the Library Lawn storytime.
- On Wednesdays, drop in and play a game. We provide the games, and you bring the fun.
- On Thursdays, drop in and watch a movie with us, then join For-Mar later in the day as they teach us about new ways to engage with nature.
- On Fridays, drop in and build a wonderful creation, or several wonderful creations with blocks, magnets and other construction tools!
- Saturdays we will host amazing performances throughout the summer. Summer reading is absolutely essential to help kids maintain their skills over the summer. We make it fun and interesting so that reading becomes a joy instead of a chore! Let us help keep the kids in your life entertained and reading all summer long! New Library Website
We have recently launched a new Library website to better serve our patrons and community. The address is still the same (fpl.info) but it’s new and improved. If you have not yet visited, check it out!

- An index of community resource links related to a variety of topics
